Stanley Cup Finals: Game Three Re-Cap

Pittsburgh won last night, 3-2. They tried hard to give away the win late, a la the last two extra-innings Royals-Twins games, but for the Penguins, home ice worked out well. Ultimately, this win was a gift for the Wings, as they'll likely take Saturday's game, then celebrate the championship in Hockeytown next week. I don't have any more to say about the game, so don't click

This is the Penguin's due ... 67 words.

You cream all over yourself for two Red Wing victories, and then make the "arguement" that the Pens tried to give the game away in game three.

Banky, that was a great game. It has to be among the best third periods in this playoff. I say it was the best, but Calgary/San Jose had some solid action.

Crosby scored two goals at age 20 in his 3rd Stanley Cup Final game. His team was down 2 games to zero, and he had to perform. He carried them. That just might be worth mentioning.

How 'bout Sydor gettin' into the lineup? How 'bout the Penguins stupid penalites, followed by clutch pentalty-kills. They've had a great pentalty-kill this whole playoffs. Stahl may be among the best PKs in the damn league.

Now let me get this right ... you're NOT a Red Wings fan?

Pens looked good. They could have won by more.

I think you're right. Red Wings will take game four. At least you have to put your broom away.

Love live the Cup,
