Late Night Linkery
Well, it's really only 10:28 right now. But I'm old. Here's some e-balones scraped from the steep cliff walls of the vast interconnected network of...ah, fuck it. This is some shit I found inside my computer:
At least someone believes in young Brodie.
What makes more sense than a random generator that provides a quote from Nietzsche along with a panel from The Family Circus? We all know the answer to that, friends, even if we're too scared to admit it to ourselves.
When I think of hockey, for better or for worse, I think of these guys. Who inspired these guys. Who are these guys.
In recognition of the Cubs' excellence thus far, a trip back to another era, when no one talked about curses. Or goats. Or cursing goats.
Some blogs may hate soccer, but we here at the House always add a few drops of international flavor. It's never too early to speculate about the next World Cup--so will it finally be time for maybe the most historically underachieving national side in history to win it?
And to close, just remember: it's not a compound.

Wow. I've never been so confused and disturbed at the same time. Are these women defending their lifestyles or crying out for help?
Trying to hold off Thigpen? For fuck sake, man. This is embarassing.

It's hard to say. My stepdad worked with a young woman in Austin at his public television show whose family was featured in "Under the Banner of Heaven" by Jon Krakauer.
She had something like 55 brothers and sisters. Needless to say, she wasn't visiting 'em for Christmas.
And LR: who knows? Maybe Thigpen will turn out to be something. He's mobile, anyway, at least more so than Brodie Bangs. And that's gonna be a valuable skill for Chefs QBs this season...
Excellent point, Cecil. I figure when Croyle goes out with his first season-ending NFL injury (game 1, third quarter), Thigpen will get the call for the remained anyway. Why not just skip the whole Croyle experiment?
Cheers,

Well, the Pens season will likely come to a close this evening.
Malkin is getting a lot of the blame up here in Canadia, but you must keep in mind the ravenous contempt which Canadians exercise against european players, especially Russians. Does Malkin warrant the blame? Is he playing poorly because he's Russian?
Personally, I'm disappointed in his play but also recognize that he was huge in every round up to this. He's certainly let these games and this team get in his head, but I would attribute that more to age than national background. The Pens D has been pensive the whole series and their play at the point has been attrocious.
Cheers,
TLR
