Who might this fellow in the photo be? Maniac Chefs fans and his mom will recognize him as Tyler Thigpen, aka former 7th round draft choice of the Minnesota Vikings--a Coastal Carolina Chanticleer, since you asked--whom the Team Formerly Known as the Dallas Texans plucked off the waiver wire a few seasons back. An even better question: why is this career backup taking up valuable bandwidth on the House?
Because, according to neurotic ex-Broncos beat guy Adam Schefter, he's evidently going to get every chance to depose the as-yet-unestablished reign of King Brodie Bangs.
Tyler, in his only action last year, completed 2 of 6 passes for 41 yards, one pick and one sack.
I could say more, but why?

We actually scooped him off of the waiver wire last year when the Vikes were trying to sneak him through to the practice squad. Tell your boy Schefter that it ain't happenin'. That is all.
