Baseball In The Daytime: 8-8-07

We have one game on tap today, scheduled for a beautiful park situated high in the majestic Rocky Mountains.

The Rockies host the Brewers for the third and final game of their series, with the home team harboring visions of a sweep. Colorado has pulled back to within four games of NL West-leading Arizona. Milwaukee still holds the lead in the Central, as the once-hot Cubs have come back to Earth.

Yovani Gallardo will toe the slab for the Brewers opposite Jeff Francis. While there's no television data available, you can find this game broadcast on XM channel 184.

Also, congratulations to Mr. Bonds out in San Francisco. There's no use fighting it, he's the greatest player of our generation. Did he cheat to enhance his numbers? Certainly. Is he a flaming asshole? Yes. But be careful whom you anoint as a "good guy" and a "bad guy," because we have no idea. 756 home runs is an amazing accomplishment, and if you're a baseball fan you have to respect it.
