Yesterday, rumors gained momentum in speculating that the Chiefs were preparing to name Charlie Weis their new Offensive Coordinator. One source was pressing the former Notre Dame head coach before the hiring was announced. His response:

"When I have the opportunity to tell you something concrete, I'll be more than happy given the proper forum to make sure I do that," Weis said. "There are tons of positives about Kansas City. They are numerous. If that matriculates, I'll be able to give you what they are. But we've just got to wait and let it play out. I'm sure that whatever happens will happen rather expeditiously."
