Sleeping and Picking: Week Nine

It's like this: The handful of Green Bay Packers bloggers that I contacted were, how shall I say -- oh yeah -- lame. One dude seemed interested, but upon researching the intimacies with which the House sleeps with its enemies, declined. Add to that that that smarmy Old No. 7 attended a west-coast wedding this weekend, and a joint Sunday post is occurring right here on the InterWebs. First things first, though.

Brett Favre and the Pack will not extend their stretch of success today. Old No. 4 will in fact retire having never defeated the Chiefs; good times had by all. Well, maybe not Deanna, but screw that broad.

Second, Old No. 7 has transmitted his weekly picks to me via telepathic measures. They are as such:
Indianapolis +5 1/2
Washington -3 1/2
Buffalo +1
Dallas -3

Rest easy, HoGnation. Your House has spoken.
Chiefs 20, Green Bay 14.
Cheers.

It's a sad day in the NFL when a rookie coach far outclasses a multiple superbowl winner.

Belicheat can take a lesson from Mike Tomlin in how to finish a 30+ point lead (10 mins left) with some class and respect.

Good ol' boy Goodell let this happen. It's a sad day, boyz ... a sad day.
